PE

During the spring term PE will be as follows: YR- Monday and Friday Y1- Thur and Fri Y2- Tues and Wed Y3- Mon and Wed Y4- Mon and Thur Y5- Swimming Mon and Fri Y6- Tues and Wed (children come to school in PE kit and bring warm clothes and suitable footwear for Forest School)

Cheer Up January

To combat the ‘January blues’ we will be having a ‘Cheer up January’ week from 16-20th Jan. Monday 16th will be a dress in multi-colours day and Friday 20th will be promise day (where children can redeem the promises they won at the Christmas fair.) There will be more events and details nearer the time.

Year 6 Parents – Meet the Teacher

To give Year 6 parents the opportunity to meet Mrs Teakle, there will be a short informal meeting on Tuesday 10th January at 3.10 to give you the chance to put a face to the name and ask any questions you may have.

Cold Weather

It has turned very cold this week and is set to continue, please can you make sure that your child wears a coat to school everyday and may need hat and gloves as well. They will need to wear a coat outside so please help us to encourage them to wear it.

KS2 Discos

These are on Tuesday 13th December. Year 3 and 4 can bring a change of clothes and disco will be from 3.20-4.10pm (pick up outside hall). Year 5 and 6 disco is at 4.30-5.20pm (entry and exit via hall door on playground).

Church Service – Thursday 15 December

We will be walking to St Stephens Church on Thursday 15th December. Parents are welcome to join us. Please contact the school office if you intend to come. In addition, if you are DBS checked and able, please let us know if you can walk with the children to the church.

Child Absence

If your child is absent from school, please contact the school office before 9am on each day of illness. Please inform us of the nature of the illness (e.g. high temperature, cough, vomiting, upset tummy etc). Post Box

There is now a post box  for children to post their Christmas cards in. You may request a class list (first names only) from reception if you would like one.
