Some of our teachers will be striking on these days and, therefore, we will need to close some of the classes.
Thursday 27th May- Years 4, 5 and 6 will be closed. All other classes remain open.
Tuesday 2nd May- Year 4 will be closed. All other classes remain open.
I realise that this will cause difficulty for some parents and I am sorry for that. However, as a school, we fully support our colleagues in this strike and I have had to make a difficult decision based on balancing this with the needs of the children and the feasibility of keeping the school open.
Some Year 6 children will be doing Bikeability on the 27th and they will still be able to it. Mrs Teakle will contact parents with arrangements for this separately.
Children in receipt of Pupil Premium are still able to attend school (please let the office know if you would like your child to attend).
If this arrangement means that you need to keep a sibling of a child in these classes off school, this absence will be authorised in this instance.
