We have had a number of positive cases in Year R this week. We ask that you continue to test your children regularly and inform us immediately of any positive results. From next Tuesday you do not have to have a PCR test if you are not experiencing symptoms but anyone with any symptoms should still book a PCR test. If a child tests positive but their sibling is negative, he/she can attend school as long they are being tested by lateral flow each day. However, we understand that parents may wish to keep siblings off and this will be authorised.
In school we continue to wear face masks around the school, limit contact between classes and keep areas well ventilated. We also continue with regular handwashing as these are the best ways to keep the virus at bay. We will provide remote learning opportunities for those children who are missing school so that they do not fall too far behind.
