Please remember that it is very important that your child does not miss school unnecessarily. Normal coughs and colds and other bugs are back in circulation so we ask you to gauge whether your child needs time off and do ask us for advice on this if you are unsure.
We do regular attendance checks to ensure that any child whose attendance falls below 90% has every opportunity to attend more regularly. Having had such a disturbed couple of years, it is even more important than ever that regular attendance is prioritised. For this reason, any holiday request of 10 sessions or more may be referred to West Sussex for a Fixed Penalty Notice. Please see our Attendance Policy for more details. Request for Absence forms must be completed prior to any absence.
