This year we would like to celebrate the diversity in our school community with a festival in the afternoon. During the day children can come dressed in something that reflects their family’s culture and are encouraged to bring in something to share as well- this could be a story, an artefact, a dance, some music, a song, a poem, a flag or some photographs. This was really successful last year. In the afternoon we would like parents to come in and help us celebrate by bringing in food, pictures etc from their own cultures that the children can share. We are planning this event with a group of parents and the PTA. Please let us know if you think that you can help in any way.
