The latest wave of Covid cases has had a significant impact on the attendance of many pupils. Obviously this has been unavoidable in many cases but means that children and staff must work hard to address gaps in knowledge and understanding. We have lots in place to address this but it is imperative that children do not miss any more school than is absolutely necessary. Please avoid making appointments (where possible), booking holidays or days out in school time. We are unable to authorise these in most cases (please see our Attendance Policy). In addition, Covid absences will now only be authorised if a child tests positive or if a parent chooses to keep a sibling of a child who tests positive at home.
