Christmas Performances

It is time to start thinking about tickets for our Christmas Performances. This year we have a super range of shows that we are busy preparing for you:

Key Stage 1 (Year 1 & Year 2) ~ ‘Rodney the Stable Rat’

1st Performance – Thursday 6 December at 2.30 p.m.
2nd Performance – Friday 7 December at 2.30 p.m.

Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) ~ ‘Dragon Days’

1st Performance – Tuesday 11 December at 2.00 p.m.
2nd Performance – Wednesday 12 December at 2.00 p.m.

Year R will be presenting their ‘Sing for Christmas’ on Friday 14 December at 9.15 a.m. – details of this are being sent to parents separately.

The performances will be held in the school hall and entrance will be via the Fire Exit doors of the hall. The gate by the archway will open at 2.15 p.m. for KS1 and 1.45 p.m. for KS2.

As the capacity is limited in the hall, we are only able to offer a total of three tickets per family. This may be three tickets for one performance or two for one performance and one for the other.

It will not be possible to accommodate pre-school children or babies at the main performances.  There will be a few places available in a crèche on the afternoons of the performances and if you would like to reserve a place for your pre-school child or baby, please indicate on the attached slip together with your preferred date for the performance and return to your child’s class teacher as soon as possible.

We have a very few places for pre-school children to come with parents to the dress rehearsals only, KS1 dress rehearsal is on Wednesday 5 December at 2.30pm and KS2 dress rehearsal is on Monday 10 December at 10am. If you would like to come to a dress rehearsal with your pre-school child, please see Mrs Cross in the school office.

Disabilities – if you or a family member has a disability and requires a space for a wheelchair etc, please let Mrs Cross know in the office before the day of the performance so that the necessary arrangements can be made.

Key Stage 2 children will be watching the Dress Rehearsal of Key Stage 1 and vice versa.
