We are very fortunate to have such a lovely space adjacent to the school. If you are using this space to play after school please remember it is a public space and anybody could be passing through. In assembly we will remind the children to keep in sight of the adults with them. Please be aware of where your children are and who they are with.
Unfortunately we are not covered by West Sussex insurance for children playing in the school grounds or on the Adventure Trail before school or after they have been collected, so it is extra helpful to have the playing field nearby.
Fruity Friday starts this Friday, 28th April. Fruity Friday encourages children in KS2 to have a piece of fruit at break time.
If your KS2 child would like to be part of our ‘Fruity Friday’ scheme, we would like to ask that they bring £2.50 in a named envelope to school by this Friday which will allow them to choose a piece of fruit each Friday until the end of the Summer term.
Please check that your child has a water bottle in school every day. If they have lost theirs, please bring one from home (please put their name on it) or Mrs Cross has some spares in the school office (£1).
North Mundham School caps are available from the School Office – price £3.
On Thursday 20th April Mr and Mrs Orchard together with an enthusiastic army of helpers formed a working party to Spring Clean the Fuzzies.
They worked hard to clear up deadwood and remove unwanted timber and rubbish from the site which is now looking lovely for the Summer term.
There was a campfire with ‘forest croissants’ (see Mr Orchard for the recipe!) to reward their sterling efforts. A really enjoyable and rewarding morning was had by all. A huge thank you to all who took part.

Many congratulations to our amazing choir on winning the Junior School Choir Class at the Chichester Music Festival. We were all so proud of them and it was delightful to see their achievement on our first visit to the Festival. Our thanks to Mrs Naomi Lott who has prepared the choir over the weeks.
Our email system for letters is up and running so if you have not received any emails yet please let us know! Teachers will display a paper copy of letters near their external door and there will also be a copy displayed on the noticeboard in the archway – so you can always check that you have seen the latest letter.
It is important that PE kits are in school for all children every day of the week.
If the PE kit comes home – please check it is returned to school the next day.
If it’s still in the wash – please send a plain T shirt and shorts as a stand by until it’s ready.
Next week is the last week for clubs (week commencing 27th March) except for football on Tuesdays and Cookery Club on Mondays – these will run during the last week of term.
Clubs will start again week commencing 1st May, and the list of clubs on offer for the Summer term will be sent to you next week.
Care clubs run every day that the school is open. If you would like to find out more about these, please call in at the school office.
